New Magic Tickets 2021
We are due to travel in December, but as it’s still uncertain I have managed to defer paying the balance on my Disney Tickets til 13th November.
I would prefer the new Magic tickets as we are going for 3 weeks, so the 18 day expiry would be a benefit , but Orlando Attraction Tickets have told be all 2021 tickets will still be Ultimates. I’ve been reading that after 3rd November Ultimates will no longer be available and all tickets issued after this date will be the Magic Tickets, does anyone have any information as to how this affects 2021 tickets that haven’t yet been paid for/issued?

I believe that if you pay in full before 3rd November you will receive an ultimate Ticket. If you have only paid deposit and pay balance after 3rd November you will receive a Magic Ticket.
This is from what info was given to others in various posts on here and resellers Twitter replies. |

Yes this is all the information I can find, but Orlando Attraction Tickets, who we have paid a deposit to is insisting that all 2021 tickets regardless of when paid/issued will be Ultimates, so conflicting information.

It may depend how OAT operate. For example, they may have a stack of wholesale Ultimates sitting already paid for in their inventory, so they're going to try and sell you those instead of the Magic tickets. I would push for Magic tickets, or even cancel and rebook if the deposit amount wasn't too large.

Yes I suppose that’s a possibility, they have been really good with the balance, it was originally due next week but they have let me delay it til 13th Nov, but I’ve only paid £10 per person so could get them elsewhere.
I’m sure it will all become clear after 3rd Nov.

Do we know how much more expensive the magic tickets will be from ultimates?
I’m the same for next year, going for 20 nights so the Magic tickets would be ideal but if there’s an uplift of for example £30-50 a ticket we would prefer to get ultimates now. What to do? |

Unfortunately I think they are keeping the info under wraps until they are launched on 3rd November. We are waiting it out as in a similar predicament but hoping at least initially they will be similar prices

My gut feeling is 2022 prices won't change, because they don't typically do a mid-selling period price increase. The new ticket format is coming in now preparing for the release of the 2023 pricing in a few months. If you need those extra days, I'd either hang on a few weeks or if you're still worried about an increase, book deposit only through somewhere like ATD to lock in the price. As far as I'm aware, deposit only on ATD will be issuing Magic tickets rather than Ultimates.
