Question Ultimate vs Magic for Sept '22

Hi All,

looking for thoughts relating to our ticket choices for next year please.

after having our departure delayed 3 times, we are scheduled to go to Orlando in September and luckily for us for 3 weeks.

However, with the demise of the 21 day ticket which we had previously purchased I am now looking to determine which is the better option for us to buy taking into account the forthcoming changes to the ultimate tickets.

So, looking at the 14 day tickets, I understand from various ticket providers that the magic tickets will still contain the memory maker and the hop facilities etc, as a result, on the face of it my preference is to wait for the Magic tickets to be released in November and buy those as they give the extra 4 days (up to 18days) to visit the park so allows more flexibility over the 21 day period.

However, with the Magic tickets being priced in relation to US seasonal demand, I don't know if Sept/Oct is going to be significantly more expensive than the current flat rate of the ultimate tickets?
I found this site disneytouristblog.com/best-worst-crowds-disney-world which seems a little reassuring but would like others thoughts.

thanks in advance.
Mike

Magic tickets being seasonally priced is pure speculation at this point, we have no confirmation of that. However September is the low season, so has the cheapest US ticket prices of the year.

If you're going for 3 weeks, I would wait for magic tickets to get the 18 days.

The Magic Tickets aren't available yet and we don't really know that much about them.

As mentioned above, we don't know if they will be seasonally priced. It's suspected that they probably will be at some time in the future but I would guess that the seasonal pricing won't kick in until 2023. They'll give us a transitional year where the price is fairly constant to get us used to these Magic Tickets and then start charging more at peak times after that. But that's just a guess.

One thing to note though - we don't know the price of these Magic tickets yet. They may be the same price as current 2022 Ultimate tickets. They might be more. They might be less. Remember that this is Disney we're talking about so I wouldn't bet on a price reduction.
