Changing Virgin Atlantic flights online

I have a multi city booking with VA, the time of my outbound flight has been changed meaning I won't make my connection. VA want to give me a 24 hour layover.
I know I can make changes to my booking online, but I only want to change the outbound flight plus 1 connection. I'm not sure if I can do this ? I want to keep my inbound connection and flight as I think the connection is fully booked, I don't want to accidentally cancel it.
Anyone know if I can alter just part of a booking online ? And if so how ?
I'm on the phone to VA at the moment, but not expecting call to be answered anytime soon.

Well I didn't dare try and do it online. 7am this morning I was on the phone, finally got through at 11.15

The guy was very helpful and changed the flight, but even he said ' give me a minute to double check because Airlink will often cancel the 2nd flight if I change the first ' so I'm pleased I didn't attempt it.
And I have 7 new songs to add to my playlist, I learnt the lyrics enough to Google what they were
