Buying Disney Tickets early
I’m looking at putting down a deposit with Florida tix for 4 adult DISNEY 14 day Ultimate tickets whilst they have a discount running. Usually stay on site so buy tickets direct with accommodations for free DD.. But next year we are staying offsite, so my question is if I purchase tickets, can I put in a earlier departure date in 2022 to receive tickets earlier to pre plan our park days online? Will it affect the tickets in anyway.
Thanks |

Not at all. As long as they are paid in full you should receive them then. The ultimates don’t need a booking date as such so you can put any date in and they are valid for the whole of 22

Thank you, I thought that was the case, but thought I would double check.

Just double check they will definitely be sending you ultimates rather than magic, as I know some of the third party sellers are converting their deposit only sales to magic tickets.
I believe with FloridaTix it's as soon as you have paid is when they send them, rather than it being linked to your travel dates. So I would put the correct dates and just pay the balance early. But FWIW, you don't need to make reservations more than a couple weeks in advance except for peaks like Christmas week. Edited at 08:41 AM. |

I have definitely booked the Ultimates, and I have put in for the 1st July 22 so gives us 5 weeks before departure.. Thus giving me time to pre book our Park Days.
Thank you |

Just be aware that the new tickets need a start date and you might not be able to change it. I suspect all future tickets not already fully paid for will be swapped to the new tickets.

Yes, you've booked Ultimates as that's all that's available to purchase right now. But they might still convert them to Magic tickets. I can't say for FloridaTix, but I know ATD are doing this for all customers on deposit only tickets.
I would double check their policy with them directly, as you'll need to put the correct departure date in that case so they don't expire. As I said, they should send the tickets when you pay the balance for them (which you can do at any time) regardless of your travel date. Edited at 11:29 AM. |
