Magic Maker
We last visited in 2013 when the Photopass was still around so magic maker is all new to me!
We're not planning on visiting the parks more than twice as we are going to try a florida holiday with a little less magic. On the days we are in the park does anyone know what the options would be for photos? Would we have to pay for individual photos? Sorry if this is a silly question but I do like to be prepared!

It's $15 per photo downloaded. So if you're planning on buying a few, it may make sense to purchase Memory Maker in advance. Flat fee of $149 for unlimited photos.
mydisneyphotopass.disney.go... dex/notlogged/ You can do this separate from your ticket if it works out cheaper than a bundled one. But make sure you price both, as by the time you purchase a 2/3 day pass and Memory Maker, a 7/14 day ticket may end up much the same. ETA - Above may depend how many of you there are. I'm only ever looking at prices for 1 or 2 people, may work out a lot more for families to use the bundles. Edited at 10:04 PM. |

Photopass is still around. It's still the system used to take and store all your photos at WDW.
Memory Maker is just the name given to the ability to download all the Photopass photos to your PC. You can buy Memory Maker before you go (the price is slightly less) or whilst you are there in the parks. It's $169 if you buy beforehand or $199 if you buy it whilst at the parks. For just 2 days, this is a little expensive IMO. If you buy a 7 day, 14 day or 21 day Ultimate ticket, you get Memory Maker for free. So if the total difference in price between the 2 day tickets and 7 day Ultimate tickets is less than around £150, it might be worth getting the 7 day tickets. As well as Memory Maker, there are other products you can buy to get your Photopass photos. As mentioned above, you can buy individual photos for $15 each. You can also buy a Photobook for $80 or a photo mug for $20. See the link in loldis' post.

Thank you. I've been looking at ticket prices and the price of a 2 day magic your way ticket is not that much cheaper! Think I'll get the 7 day and at least we have the choice to visit more parks if we choose.

Are all 3 of you linked together in MyDisneyExperience? That is, can you see the other's tickets/fastpasses in your MDE account?
If so, then there's nothing you need to do. The MemoryMakers will also be linked. If not and you each have separate MDE accounts, then you need to link MDE accounts.
