How's Tampa?
DD's are planning a trip from
Orlando to Busch Gardens tomorrow. DH and I thought we we go with them and spend a few hours at the Mall there. Just wondered how Tampa is after Irma?

Getting Excited
|
Hi,
Job to tell, we are staying here in Cape Coral and went up State to Sarasota yesterday and things did not seem as bad as here. They do tell me though Tampa got hit quite badly, I think if you ring and check with the park and they say it's open you should be fine. |

We were in Tampa on Tuesday; Westshore Mall & International Plaza had both opened although the dept stores in both were planning to open the next day.
Damage within the central areas was hard to spot; they got off very lightly; parts of Orlando appears to have got more of a hit than Tampa. Some power outages & gas stations out of fuel on Tuesday but it has been amazing to see how the situation re both power & fuel has improved hour on hour. You may struggle to spot any sign of damage/issues by Thursday/Friday. |
