Fast pass planning Theme park planning mid 2 weeks Sept.
I have never had to plan fast passes ahead of time before. It is just myself and DH. I have given it some thought and come up with the following ideas. In all cases we would be arriving at rope drop.I would really welcome your thoughts.
AK:I have ROL dining package booked at 10.45 FP FOP for whenever we can get it and head straight to Navi on standby at opening. Also FP EE and KRR for late morning/early afternoon. Head straight to KS after first avatar ride. If there is time maybe do EE before breakfast. Fit Lion King, Nemo, Tough to be a bug around other FP's then head out to explore AKL before coming back in the evening . MK: FP SDMT whatever time we can get. Head straight to BTMR, POTC and JC on standby. FP Haunted mansion for mid/late morning so we can do it while over that side of the park. FP Buzz ( not doing SM) and just ad lib everything else. HS: FP TSM for later in the day but head straight there and do on standby, then single rider on RR, FP ST and Little Mermaid and just slot everything else in. Epcot: FP TT. Head straight for soarin. Then MS on standby. FP it to do again later in the morning. FP Spaceship Earth to do later in the day and just go with the flow. Not interested in Frozen. Do you think I have caught the planning bug! I really would appreciate your thoughts. We will not be able to go again so I need to get the best out of this trip. |

I am in the same boat so I will look out for the replies!
In particular your AK plan, we also have Tusker House at 10.30 so it is what we can fit in. Will the queues for KS still be low after NR and not need a fastpass? We will be doing EMH. I have been struggling with timing fastpasses as they cannot be booked during EMH. Currently we are criss-crossing the park a lot. Edited at 09:59 AM. |

My only concern is AK, the other days look great.
It's hard to predict how quickly you'll be able to get through Navi on RD, since it's so new so doesn't have decent queue history data behind it yet. I've also read the FPs are available right from open so you'll be held behind anyone going there on FP first. But as long as you can get over to KS within 45 minutes, you should be OK on a lower crowd day as the wait there should be around 20 minutes (according to TP) at that time of day. I would prioritise Nemo over FOTLK in case you don't have time to get to both in the morning, as the latter runs later (last show 7pm in September, again according to TP) so you could potentially see that when you return for the evening. I couldn't fast pass Mission Space yesterday for mid August as currently closed for refurbishment until end July.
