I started a thread about it as I'm sure its something that will help a lot of people with concerns on here and there was a danger it might get lost in 1 post.

So worried
Meant to be staying in pines and palms resort islamorada
November for our wedding
But there's no response to emails and there seems to be a lot of people on there face book page not told wits happening either
On the satalite images I can see all the roofs of the buildings and the pool looks like its broken up at the side were sun loungers normally sit, you can see a couple of big pieces of cement broken up


Don't know wot I should do
Should I start looking for places else were, really wish they would post an update

The problem with the satellite images is you can see if the roof is on but you can't see the damage from storm surge from street view.

We have cancelled out early November trip and have changed to an area of the US we have never visited New Mexico/ Colorado/ Arizona, the non touristy bit not the Vegas Grand Canyon area where we have been many times.

It feels right to us to let the Keys recover and go back another time, we have stayed in the Keys multiple times before.

Everyone must do what is best for them but for us it felt right to stop thinking and make pro active decision and get a plan set up.
