Belive me DH will be sending messages galore he's roasted pd off and just a tad impatient now he says Duke Energynare working as had as they can on out on the field but customer online telophone public announcement updates are ***** I will try to keep.folk,in the loop
But we are speaking for no more than 5 mins on face time and we have a new GDs born on Tuesday who him and Mum have had a rough time

Our management company live on Southern Dunes and I received an email from her a little while ago saying they are still without power or internet. She was using the wi-fi in Walmart, on the 192, to keep in touch with guests. She too, has no idea when they will have power back.

If power isn't on where does that leave people with their villa bookings ? would the owners have to refund to enable people to book something else instead ?
I expected Haines City to have power again by this weekend. We head out there in a couple of weeks, maybe I have assumed wrongly that everything would be fine by now. I feel for anyone there right now, it's hot and no power and AC must be awful.

Duke Energy are saying everybody in Polk County should be back on line by Sunday 17th
At midnight may be sooner
They have 12000 guys out trying to get everyone back but a lot of the time it's the amount of time it's taking to get trees etc cut down to access the lines

That's great news - thank you so much for letting everyone know. We can now look forward to our visit going ahead. Asking about power seems trivial when you see what people are going through across there. We have already changed our plans and cancelled the Key's but relieved SD should be fine.

Everything came back on about 30mins ago including cable phones and wifi Walmart etc is open and so is Mannys Dora's Sonnys etc
