Cape Coral - Uber/Taxi Pizza/Chinese Delivery
We stayed in Cape Coral in 2016 and are going back again in June.
Bizarrely we did very little in 2016 as we had spent the first part of our holiday in Orlando so the Cape Coral part was literally just about chilling by the villa pool. This year we plan to do more. We will have a hire care but so that both hubby and I can enjoy a drink with dinner I'm wondering if uber operate in the area and if so any idea of costs? If no uber is it easy to get taxis? Also wondering if anyone has an recommendations for pizza and chinese delivery in the area please. Thanks

Hi Lynn, We haven’t used them but yes Uber does operate on the Cape. Can’t really recommend a pizza delivery as we don’t eat it (but there are loads of pizza places on the Cape). As for Chinese food, it depends where on the Cape you are as it’s a big place. We have a restaurant folder in our villa with nearby restaurants and takeaway so your villa owner may also have guides & local info re this, as well as taxi numbers etc. Thankfully we can walk to four different restaurants from our place, good if we want to leave the car in the garage for the night.
Have a great time, we are here just now for 3 months and coming back also in June. |

We stayed in Cape Coral in August and had Dominos delivered! Kids loved it as they do XL ones and sat by the pool stuffing their faces-probably the highlight of their holiday 😀😀😀

Thanks CapeCoralfl - I've seen your villa in a couple of trippies (including your own). Looks beautiful and in a fab location. Have you been to the Cape before in June? Just wondering how the weather compares to Orlando. Our days this year are 9 - 19 June which is the earliest we've gone in the summer. I know in Orlanod in Late June we've had several days where it's been grey or rained all afternoon. Any feedback welcome.
Thanks Col41 - my 2 are adults now 19 and 18 but I think they'll also find eating Dominos by the pool a highlight of the holiday.

Hi
Thanks for reading all the trip reports! Yes it’s really beautiful down here in SW Florida. June weather in SW Florida can be unpredictable (like all of Florida) we nearly always come over in June as it’s hubby’s birthday month and the weather has been everything- rained most days (especially afternoons, not rained at all in the 3 weeks and gorgeous hot sunny weather and a mixture of these) what it will be is very hot, humid and beautiful sunsets. |
