Mobile What do I do?

So, I went to cocoa beach this afternoon to watch the launch. I got there hours ahead of time as I had no idea what to expect.

It was nice wandering up the beach, having dinner on the pier. But it was bitterly cold.

Really was looking forward to it. Then it got cancelled. Rescheduled for tomorrow night. Which will be my last night.

I was planning to head to city walk for a few beers, but now i can't make my mind up. Do I give the launch another try?

If it wasn't my last night I'd go without hesitation. But it is and I've lost one night because of it, and I'd be really annoyed if they cancelled it a second time and I wasted two nights.

Should i stay or should I go?

I personally would not risk another cancellation on my last night!

It would seem such a shame since you’ve already lost a day. Stick to your universal plan and try the launch again on a future trip as they do a few!

I wouldn't risk it either. Nice idea to go and see a launch but not on the last night if it was already cancelled once.

Personally I would see what the weather is like (if that's why they cancelled) and then try again if it's looking hopefully. Watching a launch is one of my all time best memories of trips to Florida.

It was cancelled because of a faulty valve apparently.

It's such a dilemma as I really want to see it, but will be mad with myself if I go and they cancel it again

Is this an Elon Musk rocket that lands itself? If yes, I'd love to see that live.

If you really want to see it then I would go, you’ll kick yourself if it doesn’t get cancelled.

You can go and have a beer at home but you can’t see a rocket launch.

I'm not sure.

This is the detail

kennedyspacecenter/l...-v-sbirs-geo-4

I'm just wondering how much I'll actually see from cocoa beach.

No, it is not the SpaceX rocket where the first stage lands.

There is very detailed info on the best viewing locations for different launches here:

The following two web sites give further info, particularly for geeks:

Cancellations have always been frequent and whilst a launch is something to behold, Only a Saturn V , Shuttle (seen it) or an SLS when they come on line, would drag me out of my way.

The Shuttlle was truly ground shaking and incredible to see from Titusville. A woman next to us and in her 60s, coming to attention placing her hand across her heart and fervently shouting 'god bless America!' As it rose off the platform absolutely made it for us!
