Anyone stayed at these San Diego hotels

The Wndham Bayside, and the Sofia. The Wnydham looks quite nice and has a pool, but I could book a suite for more room at the Sofia.
I'm taking my Mum and am not sure we want to share a room, she says she snores too much! A suite would give me the option of the sofa bed.
I also like the look of the Soringhill suites, but they are a bit too expensive really.

Can't address the hotel choices as such because I haven't stayed in either, but I can help on location because we've used The Bristol which is just across the road from the Sophia? It's about a ten minute walk down to the Embarcadero if you head down Broadway through the Courts area, or a similar walk across to the GLQ using Front Street. Sophia looks nice with a decent restaurant at street level, and a coffee shop too if I remember correctly.
