I saw this in the night on some Vegas groups

Cue mass hysteria about how unsafe they are etc.. it was a tragic accident but when you consider how many flights there are daily in Vegas and surrounding areas chances of something happening is very very small,

I’ve been with Papillion before and I would again .

We flew over the Grand Canyon last August with Papillon. They were fantastic and very professional.

Tragic events, but fortunately very rare. No consolation to those involved I know. I wouldn't let it put me off a similar tour.

Though I am not a great fan of helicopters the perspective is the amount of flights every day and the safety record. Tragic circumstances. Thoughts are will all those affected.

I agree, we flew with Papillon in September, they are very professional, it’s very sad for those effected. Really hope it wasn’t our pilot, she was lovely.

Tragic event and my thoughts are with those that lost loved ones and those injured who survived.
You are correct in that helicopters have a good safety record, and are invaluable machines which save countless lives.
I have flown in helicopters for many years, much more robust twin engine choppers with 2 pilots, than the light single aircraft single pilot machine in this crash.
I will never get in one of these, but that’s my personal choice.
