Am planning Dylan’s Tour and Alcatraz in SF. Whale watching in Monterey, seaworld, the zoo, uss midway, Old town, la jolla in San Diego.
Universal and Griffiths Observatory in LA, big Bear Lake Village, aerial tramway and Joshua Tree at La Quinta. Calico ghost town on way to lone pine where we’ll check out the Alabama hills and take a drive into Death Valley . Tioga pass to Yosemite. Valley tour.

Looks like a great itinerary! The Dylans tours in SF will cover a lot of the highlights. Other things we have enjoyed in SF is the Walt Disney Family Museum, Riding the Cable Cars and Lombard Street is fun for a quick wander. For Yosemite try and get to Glacier Point in Yosemite if you can. The Views are outstanding.

Hi sound fairly good, our only reservation would be so many stops. We have done similar but would perhaps suggest drop San Diego and take the 2 nights elsewear, perhaps yosemite for one. You will arrive yosemite lunch time or after and after checking in and getting your bearings you then will have one day and then away again the next morning. Just an idea to make you think as you will be driving a lot

Yes definitely going whale watching probably Sanctuary Cruises from Moss Landing.

Dropping SAN Diego is a huge no. It’s our longest stop and probably the one I’m most looking forward to lol

Don't miss San Diego we have stayed at the BW Shelter Island twice. SD is an amazing City we used the hop on hop off trolley tour which is a great way to see the highlights. We also visited Port Loma.

Hi we loved San Diego to but throwing spanners to make you think. When there we loved la jolla in the evenings, beautiful place. We also really enjoyed the zoo and the safari park especially getting up close to a cheetah and seeing it from 4/5 yards away amazing.
We used sanctuary cruises for our whale watching and had a great morning
