Mobile Las Vegas airport to hotel transfer. How have you done it?

I’m exploring options. We will be picking up a hire car at some point as we are traveling onwards, but not sure when to do it. When we arrive we will probably just park it up for 2 or 3 nights at the hotel, so seems like a waste. But if we get a transfer from the airport will we end up paying a fair bit for that? There are 4 of us plus luggage so I’m thinking a small taxi wouldn’t be sufficient. Do any hotels offer free transfers?

Hi, we went to Vegas last May, there is 4 of us and we had 4x cases and 4x hand luggage.
We didn’t book transfers, just joined the short queue for taxis at the airport and waited for a big / van type taxi. Cost us about $15 for the journey to MGM.
If I remember rightly there was an airport employee outside who was sorting out who got in which taxi, depending on how many in each family.
It was all so easy

We also used a taxi as it’s so close to the strip

The airport is very close to the strip so the taxi fare will be under $20.

We usually just get a taxi but this year we're getting a car because the price difference isn't much between picking it up on the first day and parking for a few before driving to California, and getting potentially 2 taxis to the strip and have to waste time getting back to the airport a few days later to pick up the hire car.

We went in January and used Uber, it was so easy to use and cost much less than taxis, I would definitely recommend downloading the app. All the hotels in Las vegas have designated pick up/drop off points and the most we waited anywhere was 2 minutes.

Just grab a cab they have controllers managing the queue so you'll be directed to one big enough for you all.
Cab stand is right by the exit doors next to the luggage carousels and well signposted.

The airport is really near the strip... but you cannot walk it! I once saw a couple dragging their cases behind them...walking it! it’s far to dangerous!

Lol! The lengths some people go to to save a few quid!
Thanks for everyone’s replies. Good to hear it’s so easy and reasonably priced.
