Toasting your own bread in a food court is fine and not a problem.
Now taking your own bread to a sit down table service restaurant is another matter but that isn't what the OP asked..

God this gave me a giggle. OP, do what you need to keep your small child happy, what with it being her holiday too and shouldn't have to eat in her room like she's contagious.

This has been a funny read. I personally wouldn't have any problems if someone was paying to eat in the food court but gave their child a snack from elsewhere or in this case brought bread. We purchased dd 2 slices of bread in the foodhall one year and she wasn't keen on it. Can't remember if it was the bread or the butter she didn't like but that was a waste of money. Kids (and adults) can be fussy. I'd rather see a child eating something they like peacefully.

Given that the OP will be paying for two breakfasts, is it really any different to people sharing quick service meals, something that is often discussed and advised on here...?
