Helicopter Ride

Hi all
We have been busy working on our planning today and we are so excited!

As a little surprise I would like to arrange for a helicopter ride for us, we are two adults and two children.

We are not hiring a car and it seems that I can't book a tour from IDrive as the helicopter only holds three passengers. As I researched some more, there is another place by Wonderworks that can carry four passengers but you can't book. We would have to just turn up and see if they have space.

Has anybody done this before? In my mind I would much rather book so I know where I am. It really needs to be IDrive as Kissimmee is going to cost a lot more to get to in the taxi.

Can't offer advice on the specific place you are after... but we have done one without booking and they were ready to go straight away. I think because it is quite a 'niche' thing to do (and expensive), and each tour is only 10-15 mins, you are unlikely to experience a queue.

As Stan says, people won't be queuing. If the helicopter's out on a flight there's lots of places nearby for a coffee or ice cream while you wait. You could call them before you set off, to check they are able to fly (weather forecast maybe).

We didn't do the I drive one, but on 192, we turned up to book for the following day, but there was no queue and we went straight away. The helicopter took 4 and the kids loved it.
