Moving booking from 09/19 to 04/20?
Hello
We booked for summer next year as a family members was getting married in April 2020 (our original date of going) however they are not now and I’m just worried Aug is going to be too hot! I have only booked the 5 nights Disney hotel with DDP so far! I know 2020 isn’t out yet so why are my options - is it at all possible to move the holiday? Thank you in advance

You can move the holiday, however if you were to move it now you would lose the free DDP. If you wanted to move it and keep the free DDP you would need to wait until approx April 2019 when free DDP for 2020 is available (if it is). That is because they can only transfer to a valid offer

Thank you that’s really helpful! Will have a think! Can’t believe this is happening really! The early bird doesn’t always catch the worm!

Getting Excited

We moved ours from May this year to April next year - you will have to wait until the free dining is out and Disney will only allow you to change it once from one year to the next. But they changed it and it was free. I’ve since tweaked days etc and that is fine - subject to the £50 charge if the price goes lower and free if it costs a bit more.
Also I seem to remember there was something in the terms about making a change within a few weeks of arrival. I’d ring Disney and ask them what the cut-off date will be for you to transfer your booking so you are sure to do it in time to not incur any fees. Edited at 01:14 AM. |
