£7598 so far. 2 adults in Sept/Oct.
This includes almost all food and drink thanks to DDP, WDW tickets and a $300 gift card which covers tips and a couple of nights parking.
We'll still need $$ for extra spending and still need to book Cirque and a backstage Tour.

1 night Airport hotel;
Meet & Greet parking;
2 night car hire mid holiday;
Direct VA PE flights;
14 nights Beach Club;
1 night at GF (gifted by Disney)

£253pp per night.
There will be extras to book yet - Cirque, dining events etc.

I also got Quidco cashback on all bookings.

That’s for 4 people. I’ll also add a couple of nights at a Disney/Partner hotel at some point. We weren’t supposed to be doing Disney, so that’s pushed the price up. (Insurance is via the bank so don’t include that in costs).

Edit: this is flying 6-26 August direct LGW-MCO
That's a great price - who are you flying with and how much did you pay for the flights? Would you mind doing a breakdown of costs please? Did you book everything separately? Id be over the moon if I could get prices like that for next August!

Very interesting to see the wide variations of holidays so far.

October school hols for 10 nights, 2 Adults & 1 teenager, £3,428.89. This includes:

BA economy, no seats reserved, Edi-Gtw-Mco.
Intermediate SUV with full insurance for 2 drivers.
11 nights @ 2 bedroom apartment at The Enclave Suites via Airbnb (flight home isn’t till 9pm so we’ll have the room until we leave for the airport).
1 night HRH Club level room
14 day Universal 3 Park tickets
10 day Universal photo package
ESTA’s x 3

So we’re working out at £114.30 pppn... eek!

Just checked spreadsheets for previous FLORIDA hols in 2015 (14 nights) & 2017 (21 nights), they worked out at £111.69 & £92.71 pppn, seems the longer you stay the cheaper it works out pppn.

I've done the last bit of booking today for our Easter holiday (school holidays, 3rd April) and been brave and added up the costs. The last time that I posted this sort of thing was 2015 and it seems that over 25000 people have viewed the post so it's obviously of interest. So here goes.

It's costing us £61.48 per person per night (pppn). Total £4180.64 2 adults, 2 teens

This compares with £46.76 pppn back in 2015, although the children were under 12 then, and total number of nights away from home was 19. This year they are teens and we're away from home for 17 nights.

The 2020 costs are for a night in a Premier Inn, Meet & Greet parking, direct flights from LHR to Miami with car hire (SUV). We have 3 nights in a cheap motel, 5 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment near the beach, and 6 nights in the Staybridge suites at Seaworld. All accommodation includes breakfast.

Park tickets are 14 days at Busch, Aquatica & Seaworld, and include parking, a full day of dining at each park, and the front of line passes and other benefits from staying in a Seaworld hotel.

(I haven't included insurance as this is medical and very specific to us.)

Anyone else brave enough? There are too many variables to make good science, but it gives a guide to the cost of the endless possibilities.
I have to admit I’ve not read any further than this initial post.
I don’t follow how you can break prices down to per person when clearly you’re a family and I’m guessing paying for all?

I’ve not done any kind of calculations for our trips past the first few we took...
I simply know it’s a fair chunk
And a delightful way to spend money. 🤣
