Easyjet change flights option?

Has anyone changed Easyjet flights online that were cancelled? I'm wary of how far I can click through to finally price it before it commits me. We may still want to request a refund.

Our hotel in krakow is only offering a credit.

I tried a section 75 credit card claim but was told I couldn't claim as they were offering a credit. I have read travel insurance is a no- go for the same reason.

I haven’t done it for a flight that was cancelled as such,but we were due to fly to krakow tomorrow,so about a month ago I changed it to Tenerife for next January,figuring we should be ok by then.
So technically it wasn’t cancelled by that point,so easyJet hadn’t been in touch with me.i just went on the website and the option was there.
No extra money was required,so I’m not sure if the flights were the same price or not,so can’t advise on that,but we also added luggage on for 99p.

Can I ask if you had seats booked and did it also let you book new seats at no extra cost? It said you need to do this in Manage bookings? Our flights etc are coming in slightly cheaper.

Yes we had seats booked,which I never gave a second thought to,but when i got my confirmation,they had actually gave us the exact same seats on the new flight to Tenerife on both legs.

We are due to go to Greece in May but Easyjet have said we can change to any flight, any day. That has to be done by email though.

We did try to change another flight and you can proceed quite a way before payment

I've opted for a refund for my flights, it was a bit of a rigmarole to get the refund option but I've put in the application. Could take 28 days but don't contact them unless it takes over 90 days!
