TIA
We had Vancouver planned for this year but the flights have been cancelled so we've decided to put it back. We had planned 5 nights in Vancouver with 4 days for the city and 1 day to visit Whistler. We were then going to take the train down to Seattle and spend 2 night there. You can fly to Hawaii from Seattle too which is something to consider if you wanted to see some of the Pacific Northwest. Another option is an Alaskan cruise from Vancouver or Seattle.

Last year we did Hawaii. We went to Maui and rented a condo which was very good value. Maui is stunning but not a party vibe. There are very few bars or nightclubs where we were (Wailea) but we loved exploring the beaches, sitting by the pool, eating on our lanai at night and driving up to the volcano and along the Road to Hana. If you want more action then Oahu is better. If you want even more secluded and off the neaten track then Kauai is the one you want.

Vancouver,Seattle, San Francisco, LA, San Diego have flights to several islands. Vegas and Dallas fly to Oahu. You can put together an amazing multi center holiday flying out of one airport and back through another. We spent time in Napa Valley last year having done San Fran before and that's a stunning spot too to relax after a Hawaii trip and before coming home. More for adults though - restaurants, wine tasting, bike trails, spas etc.. than a family holiday.
