New York meals
We're off to New York in the near future. What are your favourite snack bars and restaurants, particularly ones that aren't too expensive 😁

We went in November and pretty much ate at reasonably priced places, we’re not fancy eaters at all. We went to the Tick Tok diner, Buffalo Wild Wings, ate in an Irish bar called the black sheep, shake shack, the comfort st diner. All were decent food which filled our bellies!

Ryan Maguires ale house was probably our favourite too. We actually had vegetables there ! reasonably priced and my chicken pot pie was delicious. This meal for 4 (adult portions) was $78 plus $14 tip. They served refillable sodas too which we found unusual in NYC.
George’s diner was good too. Both these restaurants are in the area for 9/11 and Statue of Liberty. Not fine dining but we also went to Buffalo Wild Wings Times Square twice. We found the restaurants to be be very busy in the evening and the queues were down the street. After the first day we started to eat at lunchtime and just grab fast food in the evening. We were in bed for 9 each night anyway ! Edited at 10:07 PM. |

Hi
We ate breakfast at Red Flame Diner, Andrews coffee shop and Tick Tock diner. All lovely food and reasonably priced. In the evenings we ate at Juniors, Red Lobster and Carmines. Carmines was the most expensive but also the nicest.

Juniors, Andrew’s coffee shop and the keg room were the best meals we had. Also enjoyed shake shack and breakfast at Dunkin’ Donuts.

We loved Carmines. Would recommend to anyone. Also love Panda Express - think Chinese fast food. Cheap but very tasty.

Thanks everyone. We are lucky to have breakfast included but I've noted down all the others. I'm putting a rough itinerary together so it will be good to have a list of places nearby so we have some idea of where we can eat.
