Christmas markets
Hi. I'm looking for recommendations for a 2/3 night break in Europe preferably not too expensive and with enough to do apart from the markets. 😁

Very much an uncommon destination but we went to Nuremberg in Germany for two nights a couple of years ago! We went late November. It is such a beautiful place I would really recommend it! There’s lots to do if you like shopping, walking around, going to the little festive village and markets! There’s also the castle to explore, it isn’t locked up so you can go up there at night which is fun too! There’s some great places to eat too- particularly the Australian restaurant ( can’t remember the name )! We went as the flights were £20 return- an offer you can’t pass up!

We are going to Prague, seems lots to do. We got a really good deal through BA Holidays but booked not through the offered Christmas breaks offers, but put date and destination in and got it a lot cheaper. Also flying on 30th Nov made it cheaper
Have fun |

I'm going to Vienna with my friend this year. Really looking forward to it. Booked Ryanair flights and apartment on booking.com. Hope to see the Klimt collection as well as a visit to the Spanish riding school.

Did Prague last year and loved it, not just for the markets but also the history the old Jewish quarter is a must, we are staying closer to home this year with a visit to Edinburgh :-)

Would highly recommend Berlin. We went last December and had a fantastic weekend not just because of the Christmas markets. I did a trip report which can be found in my signature
