For those who have an Apple Watch

GPS or more expensive cellular?
Pros and cons?

I’m thinking I always have my phone with me so just go with GPS?

I had cellular the first year but didn’t use it once. Several years in I’ve never once thought I needed it since not having it either.

Always GPS as like you say, I always have my phone with me so cellular would be pointless for me .

As above - I always have my phone with me, so GPS only.

I had the cellular and literally never used it so when I upgraded to the 6 series last month I went with GPS only and it’s been great!

I did have the cellular and it just didn't work for me.. this is when they first came out. I now just have the GPS as I always have my phone with me too.

I’ve had the GPS version for over 3 years and never felt the requirement to swap to the cellular version. I would say that a minimum of 95% of the time I always have my phone with me, probably the same for most people.

Ive just bought a Cellular version against the GPS version - purely because the colour I wanted wasn't available in GPS only.

It wasn't too much more expensive but ill never use the Cellular aspect of it - especially when Vodafone want to charge me another £7 a month for the privilege.

I have cellular, purely so that when I go out exercising I don’t need to take my phone (and drop it as I’m a bit clumsy), but can still take/make calls and listen to Apple Music.
