new covid passport and amber countries

Pleasing news today regarding the proposed opening of non quarantine regulation for people who have had both covid vacines
Especially if the likes of the usa are green when you start your holiday but move into amber whilst away

Yes, lots of news reports this morning with an interview with Dr Fauci in the US being shown sounding very optimistic. I know we've had many false dawns with US travel corridors opening up but this one does sound promising.

Does say "by the end of the summer" though which isn't such good news news for folks with hopes this year of getting away, but we'll see.

Quite a few angry people on a facebook group I'm on. We did a vaccine trial but the vaccine hasn't been approved yet so while we are all fully vaccinated we won't have a 'passport' anytime soon.
Until kids can be vaccinated too (if they do) it won't affect me too much, but good for those who are covered and want to travel.

What about children though? It’s all so uncertain still isn’t it. Glad we haven’t booked to go this year!

we are both vacinated and travel as 2 adults with fights booked for sept 21 so looking good

will sept be classed as end of summer

Summer is June, July & August; September is the first month of Autumn.
