They are wonderful. I wouldn't go as far as to say they are like a park at sea but they have the Disney magic of a park but within a confined area. The service is top class and the entertainment is amazing. There are so many activities going on all day you will not be bored. And of course there are characters!

Do they do fireworks?
You don't say when you are looking at this. If you are considering this years staycations then no they do not have fireworks. Liverpool council did organise fireworks for its first sailing but Disney have already said no fireworks.

On Caribbean cruises there are always fireworks. On European cruises there usually aren't just because the regulations are different about how far you need to be from land.

What's the entertainment?
On a usual cruise there would be a different show every night (usually on a 4 night you would have 3 production shows and 1 variety act). On the UK cruises this summer its one production show and then on the 4 night they've added a variety act. There is also a frozen deck show one night as well. On top of this they usually have live music in one or two venues.

What is there to do?
They have quizzes, game shows, animation classes and loads of other activities. On the staycations they don't have the full usual activities but there is loads you can do each day. Of course there is also the pools and the shops as well as a movie theatre too which at the moment is showing Black Widow & Cruella.

Any advice please
I would buy sea sick bands just in case you get any but honestly I don't know anyone that's hated a Disney cruise. That said these Staycation ones this summer should not be used as a comparison to a normal cruise. Character meet and greets are socially distanced, masks have to be worn inside and they are still maintaining social distance limits on the ship so its a very different experience to what you would have on a normal cruise. It doesn't mean its not enjoyable you just have to bare in mind things wont be like this on other cruises.

They are amazing!

That said, booking for the staycation cruises has been open a long time ao you will pay big bucks now.

Get as long a cruise as you can, 2 nights not worth it as you only get 1 full day on board.

Lots of vlogs on YouTube, check them out.
