Disney hotels - do you need to take your own toletries?

When we stayed in POR last October there was a small bar of soap and little bottles body wash and shampoo. I always prefer to take my own but you can buy toiletries in the hotel shops as well, toothpaste, sun cream etc.

Like every other hotel they are provided and replenished as needed but most people seem to prefer their own brands (and take the unused Mickey soap home as a momento.

In csr for a night last week and had tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner and one bar of soap.

At pop right now it's shampoo and bar of soap... So I went and bought one bottle of the shower gel as I'm not a soap person. Kind of wish I'd brought my own!

Yes you get the small bottles but i prefer my own.

I used to take my own but don't bother now. The toiletries provided are actually nice quality.

At Saratoga Springs (deluxe) we got:-

Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, body soap and hand soap bar.

At moderates it is bar face soap, bar body soap, shampoo and conditioner. I think the deluxes add body lotion too. I suppose it depends what you call toiletries. There is no cleanser, moisturiser, etc etc.
