Hello there 🙂

Could you please check our flight that goes a week today.

BA2203 Gatwick to Cancun
11.25am

Wondering what you think the chances of us sitting without anyone in front, or behind us in economy.

Thank you.

Hello again - no problem

BA 2203 -scheduled to be operated by a 777 aircraft

Club - 19 seats unoccupied with 2 blocked
WTP - 17 seats unoccupied with 4 blocked
WT - Wide Open

At the moment BA selling up to 5 Club fares in all fare buckets, all fares in WTP and 5 highest WT fares so a little positive movement from our previous look at flight loads.

At this stage using the WT map I would say you would be unlucky to get a full cabin but it all depends on other passengers choice of seats (completely unpredictable) but a good chance of getting at least some free seats near you. But never say never

Looking forward to your TR and if you get the chance some feedback about loads is always useful.

Thanks again. I'll take some inconspicuous photos of the cabin to give an idea of how full it was 🙂

Think because we had to give up our WTP seats to move flights... I'm a bit more concerned about having less space, and having annoying "neighbours" 🙂

Not long now.

Maybe if we're early enough at check in we might be able to upgrade to WTP.

Never been on a plane that's not been anything but ram jammed in all the years I've been flying, so will be strange to have a less busy flight.

Thank again.

Richard

Hi Richard - some definite changes during the last 2 days so have done another check for you. Compare the figures below to my post #584 above.

BA 2203 - scheduled to be operated a 777 aircraft

Club - 1 seat unoccupied with 1 blocked
WTP - 9 seats unoccupied with 4 blocked
WT - 113 seats unoccupied with 7 blocked

At this stage BA only selling 1 full fare Club/6 full fare WTP and 4 full fare WT. So you can see the difference especially in the Club and WTP cabins. 113 seats unoccupied sounds a lot but if BA are only selling 4 WT fares then that suggests a large number of people will use OLCI to choose their seats.

Thanks again for that. With them allocating our seats already, I wonder if they've done the same for everyone else? Certainly looking full now 🙂

It is what it is, and in so many ways, we'll just be glad to be on a long haul again.

I've never had BA just assign seats as they have, but we'll try the online check in next Tuesday and see what we can do to bag a couple of window seat aisles.

Will let you know what it's like next week.

All the best.

At this stage BA selling all fare buckets except for the very lowest World Traveller ones.

As we are 10 months in advance of travel I would expect changes to the flight loads.

Hi could you check please

AA39 - 08/10/21 LHR - MIA @ 12.50

AA38 - 24/10/21 MIA - LHR @ 19.15

These flights are rebooked by BA after the original flights were cancelled (AA57 and AA50 respectively). Our seat selection seems to have carried over on the outbound but the seat map is fully blocked out on the return. Curious to see if anyone can enlighten me as to what the flight load looks like.

Many thanks in advance as always!
