Your Rolo is a cutie too
I love shih tzus, our friends have one and he’s so cute and incidentally his name is Taffy 😂

I do think all our dogs are going to find it strange when they are left again. Our cat is really close to DD and we were worried when she went to uni last October that he would miss her. He did, but she came home every 3 weeks for a weekend to see Simba. He’s loving having her home again now

Yes, B & Q were clearing their shelves! I bought most of my bedding plants from there last year, the roots were in what looked like t-bags, they dissolved after planting. It seemed to do the trick they were very healthy marigolds!
I am always amazed at the beautiful flowers at the campsites, the hanging baskets are really pretty.

Have you been to the Morse Museum in Winter Park? They have a daffodil room, the pillars etc are draped with the flowers. I bought a set of coasters with the pattern on them., except they are too pretty to use so I framed them!

That is beautiful, I’ve never heard of Winter Park, where is it? I would love to visit there

I agree about the lovely flowers at caravan parks. My DD actually said when we were planting our petunias this weekend that they remind her of the caravan park we stay at in Brean Somerset as they always have them along the pathways lining the entrance.

I don't know if you stay on-site or off-site with a car but if you get chance the whole town is worth a visit.

GG

We've been to the Morse Museum a couple of times and the scenic lake ride four or five.

We've always driven but on our next trip to Florida (21 April 2020 ) we planned on catching Sunrail to avoid the I-4 drive. From Poinciana to Winter Park was something stupid like $5.50 return for two seniors. Maybe next time.

Yes, we have been a couple of times from Sand Lake Road, the tickets as you say was minimal. Didn't enjoy the lake ride but we had a patently ant-British guide

Sorry to hear that. Have you been on the Mount Dora lake and canal ride?

Mick

No, we did a seaplane ride from Tavares over the area between there and Mount Dora, it was really interesting. Well, until he let DH have a turn at flying it

Hi Mick, We used Sunrail at the beginning of March, we travelled Poinciana to Winter Park,
certainly better than driving. Our outward journey was a noisy one, about 20 'Snowbirds' were on the train, everyone could hear what they were going to do that day, fortunately they were going to Sanford, so our return journey was a peaceful one. At Winter Park at one of the outdoor restaurants a group of ladies who lunch were on show ( let's just say their plastic surgeons had made a dollar or thousand) ! We would certainly use Sunrail again.

Interesting Pam

Hope we're not surrounded by loads of old people.

I know that it's a commuter train and only runs Mon-Fri and not too frequent in the middle of the day but we do want to try it. Maybe November?
