You could get the No.37 Lynx bus to the one on Sand Lake Road but there's only 1 stop where you can get on, up near the junction with Grand National Drive. This bus would also take you to the FLORIDA MALL. The one on Turkey Lake Road would need 2 buses and a convoluted, not worth the time, route.

You can def walk from idrive to the Walmart on turkey lake road, there are pavements all the way you have to cross a couple of busy roads but there are pedestrian crossings so it’s easy, however I would only walk first thing in the morning as the distance on the heat would be a nightmare, took me 25 minutes from the McDonald’s to the entrance of Walmart . The easiest way is just to get an uber or lyft there and back

I think you would be better off getting an Uber if you really want to go to Walmart but like others have mentioned CVS or Walgreens will do for snacks and be much closer

We walked to the Walmart on Turkey Lake Road on our last trip - the walk was fine, it took us around half an hour from the big McDonalds. This was in November though, not sure I'd fancy it during the hotter months.

What seems like a manageable walk will seem much more difficult in the heat and humidity.
Dd and I walked from our hotel to the closest 7 11 on our last trip and once we were there we realised that was no way we wanted to walk back 😂 |

Get a taxi safer and even short distances in the Florida heat feel like a marathon. - taxis and uber don't cost much.
Florida is not set up for pedestrians, it's not uncommon for walkways to randomly end and if there is no crosswalk you are talking your life into your hands-and probably breaking the law as well.

It’s possible and I’ve done it myself, I got a taxi there and walked back and regretted it about half way, walking back it’s slightly uphill and when I went it was very humid! Knowing how cheap ubers are it’s just not worth it
