Which Terminal?

Hello,

Can anyone please confirm which LHR terminal Virgin are flying from?

I’ve seen conflicting info regarding T2 and T3 and don’t know where to check for the info regarding our specific flight 😢

I only really need it now to make sure I’m booking a lounge in the right terminal 😂

I contacted them the other day - they don’t know when they will be going back to T3

T3 normally as the clubhouse is there. T2 and T5 are the only terminals currently open.

Just keep checking here periodically, it'll be updated when T3 is back open again. heathrow/at-the-airp...which-terminal

Ahh thanks everyone! That makes sense.

Hopefully if the 3 Virgin flights currently scheduled for MCO on 17th July take off as planned, they’ll be back at T3.

But to be honest, right now, I’m not in the least bit fussy how I get there, as long as we get there 😂

I read somewhere they were aiming to move back to T3 within the next few months as T2 is running out of capacity. We got October and i've gambled and booked our M&G parking from T3. July is hard to call, I would probably still be planning for T2

I will be happy if T3 opens again when international travel resumes as it’s much bigger . T2 is small and I really cannot see how it will cope with the amount of flights each day we are seeing being scheduled...
On watching the Heathrow programme this last few weeks about what the airports been like during the pandemic, they showed T2 when we were allowed to the limited destinations on the safe list and its was totally rammed !
Bursting at the seems and this is with limited travel.
So fingers crossed for T3

Oh that’s really interesting - and makes total sense when you factor in the extra time people may spend in the check-in area having docs checked etc.

Will keep a watchful eye out 👀

I’d go as far as to say that if we’re going, it’ll be from T3.

Heathrow don’t have the capacity to not re-open it if flights are going as planned.
