Brood x cicadas emerging in the states after 17 years!
I might be a good time to stay away from the USA a little longer as billions of cicadas are emerging after being underground for 17 years
These are the states they are expected to be in until late June In addition to Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, Brood X will also emerge in Delaware; Georgia; Illinois; Maryland; Michigan; North Carolina; New Jersey; New York; Pennsylvania; Tennessee; Virginia; West Virginia; and Washington, D.C. Oh are they the little bugs that make that amazing noise?
My cousin, nephew and I went to Caminito del Rey last year and when we stepped off the bus, that was all we could hear. It was so strange but awesome! |

They look relatively big to me!
 Apparently they won't be around (noisy) for long and will disappear again for another 17 years! I wonder why so long...
