California grill brunch
Hei guys,
So I booked the California grill for brunch. Party of five including 3 disney adults, an eight yr old and a just turned sparrow eating four year old. We are all on the adult DDP. Question is, should I (or must I) use 10 credits on this? Could our four yr old pick from our plates? And is it better to pay OOP for our 8 yr old? Last yr we had 11 table service credits left on our last day but this yr we are planning 3 2 credit meals. So might actually need the spare credits. TIA Nicola |

I don't think you can share meals at buffet style places.
It seems to be $48 for children so $24 per child TS credit, I would compare this to other child menu meals to see if it makes sense. I don't travel witch children, but I would guess that CG would be a good use of credits. |

Think the price is $90 for adults and $54 for 3 - 9 year olds

Generally, a signature is a bad use of credits because it’s double the credits of a normal table service but not double the price. For the brunch this is not the case - it is easily double many table service restaurant prices. Use the credits!

Did you upgrade to the adult ddp for your 8 year old and 4 year old?
Still not great paying $54 each for the kids but better that than using 4 adult table service credits. You have to pay for everyone there unfortunately.

Oh my goodness this meal was an outstanding one for us on our last vacation, yes they do provide kid friendly options we saw quite a few families with kids there and they were all having a great meal. The CG chefs are very accommodating so don’t feel put off booking a meal here especially this one. Yes there were no characters there however they expect kids to be exited to do their favourite things with their beloved characters in the parks. The servers will talk to them about things like that too. It’s personal preference whether or not you feel it’s ‘value’ to take the kids to this one but tbh it was way less stressful for them than Chef Mickey’s and more relaxed in general. For the adults there are lots of options , we had three entrees between the two of us ... one each and one to share and the food was amazing. The chocolates at at the end of the meal were hand made and outstanding.
Btw the Bloody Mary bar was very popular ( for an extra fee ) and there were a few other alcoholic offerings for the adults too. This for us was a “ date” day but boy we sure enjoyed it immensely and no we were not alone having a meal for two. We’ll do it again for sure💗

I know I paid cash for dd as she was a Disney age 10 adult but brunch child age, from memory the brunch pricing was 3-11 child not the usual 3-9. We used her 2 adult credits for another meal. Every one needs to pay as it is a buffet. They made dd choc chip pancakes.
