Universal annual pass discount- HP merch+guest entry?

DD will be getting an annual pass, she knows about the blackout dates on some of them, but is more interested in wether any of them give discounts specifically on Harry Potter merchandise and also wether you can get discount on day tickets for a guest? Thanks.

The helpful link has cleared up the question about day tickets but still unsure whether the Harry Potter shops are covered under the merchandise discount of 10/15%. If anyone has had experience I'd love to hear. Thanks

We've had the preferred pass in the past and got discount on the Harry Potter merchandise in the parks. This pass doesn't have the blackout dates.

We were refused a discount at Margaritaville last May on Seasonal, they told us discount applied to Preferred upwards. Pretty sure we got 10% on pins on a cart in Hogwarts though so I’d guess yes to HP merchandise
