Food issues and airport security
Hi everyone
I'm having a few food issues at the moment, and the thought of getting on a flight is worrying me slightly. I know there is an M&S food at Gatwick North Terminal arrivals. I was thinking I could go and purchase something familiar and have my own little packed lunch on the flight, job done. so I was wondering has anyone else done this? The little pots of dressing and sauce are under the 100m so that shouldn't be a problem but do you still have to put them in a small clear bag even if it's prepacked? Thank you Edited at 02:33 PM. |

Yes although personally I prefer Pret airside.
We flew Norwegian on their hand baggage fare so my bag was stuffed with sandwiches and snacks . No issue going through security although I prefer to buy airside so they are out of the chiller for less time. Liquids rule still applies so you can't go landslide to airside with yougarts , mousses, jelly, etc and of course drinks. Everything under 100 m goes in the plastic bag or your bag will probably be pulled for searching by hand as it'll show up on X-ray as liquid. Edited at 11:51 AM. |
