Park Reservation - Crystal Ball

Hi All

We have a dilemma with plans and I was hoping you guys could help.

Fully understand it’s down to how good your crystal ball is. But, wanted to get all you opinions anyway.

We were booked for August 2020 and like so many others are looking for when is the best time to rebook. August 2021 looks favourite but no one travelling wants to do the parks with the current understandable conditions with masks etc in place, which would need a move to 2022.

The question for your Crystal Ball is when do you think Disney will relax these conditions?

Cheers
Mark

Hard to even give an opinion on this.
Things are changing all the time but i guess no major changes will happen until infections start falling either through vaccines, herd immunity or even just the virus fading out for whatever reason.
And that is going to take time.

When they decide, based upon scientific data and economic needs.

Yeah, if you are talking back to normal then I agree with ziggyzag, not until there is a vaccine which could be years

The mask is the issue for me, I wear one when I need to (public transport, shops and so far an eye test) because that’s life right now and it’s the right thing to do to keep others safe but I do struggle with them and wearing one all day at Disney is not a nice thought.

When infections fall and based on scientific data, they will follow guidelines from their state and government.
Hopefully sooner rather than later
Masks in that heat is going to be a struggle!

Personally think they will drop the masks outside first and hopefully in time for our trip in May.By that time i can see the need to still wear masks for indoor attractions though ,just my opinion
