Anyone going soon had any joy with new flights?

Hi all,

My parents were due to fly out in the next couple of weeks with TC. They’ve obviously lost their flight. My dad has tried and tried to find another flight but the prices are crazy, has anyone had any luck finding some that don’t cost crazy amounts? I believe he’s looked at TUI & Virgin.

Maybe try BA? unfortunately the prices for flights for the next few months will increase rapidly now... due to supply and demand.

Would he look at Indirect options. Try Delta / United / Klm.

Sorry to hear this, I have had to book new flights today for our west coast trip next year and I am grateful that we had plenty of time on our side, I really feel for anyone who was going imminently x

I found flights with aer lingus at £2500 for 4 of us to san fran returning from LA. I booked those as we were due to fly out next thursday.

BA had really good prices, going from Gatwick. I put a deposit down in case we needed them, but managed to get decent flights with Virgin from Manchester instead (which have now gone up to a ridiculous amount!)

Worth looking at code shares on other airline websites, as Bev suggests, KLM, Air France, Aer Lingus and so on.

We’ve rebooked with Virgin, £1,300-odd for two of us.

If he tries skycanner, or similar, it will show all flights and where they are available.
