Room query...

Looking to go in January, was originally just my wife, daughter, father in law and I but now brother in law wants to come.

Daughter is only 3 and will end up in our bed anyway so we could easily stay in one room and would save us a fortune.

Anyone any experience? Could we book a 4 adult room and request this?

Which hotel are you staying in? Have you checked that there will be enough separate beds, or would your father in law and brother in law be happy to share a bed if it’s the standard room layout with two double beds?

Seems a bit too cosy for me!

One room, one bathroom but 4 adults and a small child? Perhaps for a couple of nights at a push but any longer I don’t think would be practical.

No, you would need to book a family room for 5 people

The French are very strict on their room capacity as it's part of their fire regulations and this means that you can only have a maximum of 4 people in a room who are aged 3 and over.

As you can be asked to show passports for everyone in your party on check in I personally wouldn't risk saying that my child was younger than they were as if found out you could be told you'd have to buy a second room and by that time it will be at full rack rate!
