Universal app food ordering

Has anyone used this, and if so how does it work In terms of timings? I’ve just been looking at it but it won’t let me do much as I’m off site.

We couldn't even get it to work onsite! We were literally sitting in the restaurant, connected to their own wifi and it said "sorry, you must be onsite before you can use this feature". Er, mate - I can see the food from here

I’ve used it to skip a massive queue at the simpsons fast good place. Order on the app and click collect now. It lets you know when its ready to collect. You go to a special pre order window and pick up food. They even reserve tables for people doing mobile ordering when I used it. Must of save me and hour in total.

I’m not sure if still the case but if your are using the Universal dining plan you can’t do the mobile ordering.
