Please can someone check this before I book (flights/car hire BA)
Hello,
I’ve seen flights and car hire with BA for next September, direct from Gatwick to MCO, 2 adults and 2 children, it’s a full size suv (Ford Edge) for £1518. Now we live 5 hours away from Gatwick, we usually go from Manchester but I don’t think i can pass on these prices. I was waiting for virgin to release theirs but the car hire with Alamo is extortionate! The car hire with BA is with avis, are they any good? Thank you

Last twice I have done a BA fly drive, it was good, Sign up to Avis preffered link your BA booking then you can go straight to Kiosk in the garage.

99% of the time we book flight and car hire separately but back in 2017 I spotted a BA fly-drive offer from LGW to MCO which was too good to overlook. BA WT+ plus a full size car for 4 weeks at a lower price than the VS PE flight alone. Never seen it so attractive since I'm afraid.
If you join Avis Preferred you can go straight to the garage and avoid the terminal desk. Unlike Alamo though the car is already allocated. The car will have the important insurances included - CDW with no excess and $1m SLI. Mick
