Any recommendations with car seat for toddler?

JFK to Manhattan return.

Also would prefer to pay up front.

Most people use the yellow cabs, but we did ours with Hoppa and pre booked and paid in advance. The transfers were great, nice cars, and a great driver.

Yellow cabs. Make sure you join the clearly marked queue at the airport, don't take random offers of 'taxis' from people walking up to you in the terminal. It is a flat fare from JFK to Manhattan, $52 + tolls + tips. Toddlers don't need a car seat if they are in a yellow cab.

Some cabs however carry them . Tell the despatcher when you reach the head of the queue that you need a car seat and they'll find you a cab with one . In all honesty though I'd take the train into Manhattan , it's much quicker.

Thank you... not too sure about cab without car seat... is this normal in US?

Will have 2 cases plus buggy between the 3 of us... don�t fancy getting the train in and lugging the cases round.

So Hoppa or Yellow Cabs so far?

I�ve gone with nyc airports transportation. Came highly recommemded in a new york group i�m in. I�m paying $80 from jfk to manhattan

Ask your hotel to arrange a car with car seat. They will meet you in arrivals and help you to the car with your luggage etc - may not be the cheapest but often not much more than a cab and far far the less stressful way
