I got married!
It’s been just over a month since we tied the knot and 3 months since I got my Canadian permanent residence!
We got engaged at green lake in whistler last year, on a sunny day under one of my favourite snow capped mountains. We got married in a forest in Ontario close to where my husband used to hunt. I wanted a fairytale first theme tying in a subtle hunting theme of deers. My brother in law owns crown flora florist in Toronto and gifted us with the most amazing flowers. The archway was a complete surprise and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it! I also personalized EVERYTHING! We just got some sneak peaks of our wedding photos and I’m in love! I was pretty proud of myself - I organized the whole wedding pretty much by myself. I set up the tables and tent and made my own wedding cake. It wasn’t as good as I’d hoped because I honestly got bored I finished it about two hours before the wedding! I ended up cutting my finger on a knife and my husband couldn’t stop laughing that there was blood over my hand during the ceremony! At least we can laugh about it. My wedding dress does have blood stains on it but I was never planning to sell it! We are going to turn the remaining pages of our guest book into a wedding scrapbook

Congratulations, what lovely photos. Love the natural theme of everything. Well done for making your own cake... that’s amazing in itself especially given that you done so much yourself.
