We have only done dinner and I would say yes, cannot comment for breakfast. We really enjoy the way the food is served family style & meat/fish skewer and the bread pudding desert was amazing. Getting seated can be slow, but service has been good.

We tend to make an evening of it going to the Poly to grab a drink before hand at Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace (still need to try the Grog Grotto), catching Happily Ever After, and the Electrical Water Pageant.

But it really depends on what meal you are going for, what budget you have and what sort of food you like.

Check out the reviews - 'Ohana is a marmite restaurant, for every good review you will find a bad one. Waiting ages for drinks, chewy, fatty meat, servers going missing when you need a refill and being rushed out in 40 mins are common complaints.

Not sure what being on or offsite has to do with it but we stay onsite and eat most nights in on site restaurants. There are many nice places in my food reports but I always avoid 'Ohana.

We’ve been many times and always really enjoyed it, so much so that’s it’s usually a highlight meal for us.

However, we were there two weeks ago and for the first time we came away disappointed.
Our server wasn’t interested, the food was almost thrown on the table and that was that. It appeared to be the same for the guests on the tables either side of us too.

It’s a shame as we’ve had great meals at Ohana in the past.

We went in 2017 and had an amazing time. The table was at the window, looking over the castle in time for the fireworks. The food was fantastic and it was our favourite meal. It’s definitely our type of restaurant, and our server was attentive and helpful.

I haven’t managed to get another ADR, and I’m scared to go again in case it doesn’t live up to our expectations now - I’ve heard some poor reviews recently.

Much the same as Miss Tangled said. Was one of our must go to years ago. Now don't think its worth going now. not been good last few times we went. Better places to eat in Disney for much the same price. Whispering canyon café. Is our new favourite place for all you can eat.

It is a set menu, served family style (ie shared dishes served to your table) and skewers brought to your table. You can ask for refills of the dishes, and the skewers just keep coming round!

Yes it is a set menu as in to can’t choose from a menu. However you can ask for more of whatever you want and they keep it coming until you say stop. My youngest daughter loved the shrimp and ended up with a whole kebab of them to herself. We love it and next year will be our 4th visit. We are on the dining plan but it’s one meal I would definitely pay OOP for.
