Would you go for a week?
DH likes the idea of going for a shorter break of around a week. As we'll be without the kids I think we'd be able to do everything we'd want to in that time but would be interested to hear from any Dibbers who have done a shorter trip. As an alternative to not going at all it's a no brainer but...
Is it worth doing? Would you recommend it? Thanks

We have been for a week once and thought it would be enough time but as soon as we arrived we thought must try and fit in this and fit in that and no we did not have enough time so our solution was to book another trip and go again later

YES DO IT!
Our next trip will only be 9 possibly 10 days, but if I could only do 7 I would still go! |

Personally I wouldn't go for a week. Id rather wait another year or two and save for a fortnight. That's just me though.

My parents go every year two or three times and have often been for a week or 10 days. The only thing is though that they don't do all the parks just maybe one or two and the rest of the time they just shop.

I think that if i could get a week cheap enough I would go and just do one set of parks, Disney or Universal etc.

Done a week a couple of times; once in January and the second time at Easter. Well worth it for a quick FL fix, but tbh we prefer the extra week and probably wouldn't do a week again now we have our DD, it would be too much with children imho.

Just come back from a week and do it regularly. 4 weeks would never be enough so we may as well do what we can when we can. We got lots done and what we didn't do can wait until October.

Never done it - but I think if it's without the kids it would be very do-able. I'd go for it!
