Well we’ve done it - we are booked for next May. We added one nights hotel room to our BA flight so we only had to pay a deposit. I wish I could be more confident we will actually get there!

Fingers crossed for you, and Anthony (and me) and anyone else booked for next May! I did the same with the BA flights added the one night hotel to get deposit only - didn’t feel as big a commitment. Have a couple of hotels booked via booking.com so can cancel them up to 24/48 hrs before.

Not sure if we will go to a park this time but last year we went to the Disney Store in Shibuya and bought them there. We would do the same again.

If I can I will buy them in Hilton Tokyo Bay when we arrive (can do same at Sheraton next door) but will have to see what ticket rules are nearer time ...

I didn’t know you could get them from the Disney store, sounds like a good idea.

Yes, I’m hoping we can stay at the Hilton and get tickets... I checked direct on the Hilton Tokyo Bay site for our August trip but currently shows no rooms from June onwards?
I don’t think you are guaranteed a ticket either at the minute so hope that will change.

We bought our park tickets from the main website. We wanted to pay via CCand we wanted 4 day tickets. We heard these were only available online (for the discount).

Kyoto was awesome and our airbnb was perfect. I cannot recommend it or the host enough (ゲストハウスAYAYA) location was a few mins walk from kyoto station, a launderette, 711 and aeon mall (complete with supermarket and food hall) all within 2 min walk. The fact it was a japanese house complete with tatatmi and sliding doors was nice. The kids had their own room too so we got a nice break.

We would stop there again without hesitation.
