Everyone seems to believe everything they're told on MSM newschannels and especially from the government. Does nobody question that a lot of information contradicts itself, whilst the government refuse to listen to other scientific papers and articles and blindly obey sage, whose track record for predictions is shocking, I look at evidence I can see personally , ie local hospital less busy than last year, dont know of anyone testing positive, no one at work ill etc and do my own thing. In a few years time we might wonder what the hell we did this year.

What world are these people living in. Take us in and out of lockdown and place more people into more restrictions than they were previously. Announce Christmas is saved using an equation and graphs that Einstein would be baffled with. And now that people are finally agreeing between themselves how to sort this mess out we are told no hugging, singing or board games allowed.
Clutching at straws comes to mind. Oops silly me no clutching.

Just my opinion - the government know that lots of people will break the rules whatever they put in place. They donít really have the means to enforce them and are hoping that most people will stick to something close to what theyíve said for a few days, and generally try to be as sensible as they reasonably can, so the effect wonít be disastrous, which I think it would be if there was a total relaxing of the rules OR if they attempted a full lockdown over Christmas (I think civil disorder could ensue). So whatever we are all planning, just donít do crazy stuff like inviting the entire street for a party Christmas Eve, but maybe having auntie Mabel as well as your Mum and two grown up kids households round for dinner when you see them all the time anyway is not the kind of thing they are worried about. Basically, be sensible, see a few people, but donít risk everyoneís health.
