If You Were Having A ‘Rest’ Day in Orlando Today

Breakfast in the hotel then drive out to Yalaha bakery for coffee and cake.

We would the carry on to Tavares to watch the Sea Planes and have a snack lunch at the Irish pub.

Home and then about 7.30pm have a BBQ meal at Bubbalous and finish off with a shop at Walmart.

Be woken by DH with a cup of tea and slice of toast when he’s back from his run usually have it by the pool watching the sun come up chill out there while he showers and gets flung out to the golf if I need the car I’ll come back shower change and join friends for coffee in a small Cuban coffee / bakery shop
Depending where he’s playing I might manage a trip into Joanne’s and the Amish market the coffee shop is close by
Pick him up and back to the villa for lunch I’ll Potter about the garden and villa and try to figure out how to get yet more craft stuff in the cases to come home chat to the kids on what’s app or face time
We might meet friends for dinner or get take out from the local Chinese or Mexican and eat by the pool or a cinema trip

DH will catch up on the sport on the TV or go to his TKD class near the villa and I’ll enjoy a glass of wine 🍷 after a swim by the pool,
We know how to party in our house

Leisurely breakfast in the hotel restaurant, then a couple of hours by the pool (assuming warm enough 😱 ). Late morning set off for an outlet or mall, or maybe just Walmart.

4pm ish to Disney Springs for a sundae at Ghiradelli’s then a wander and shopping.

The last 2 trips our rest days/s have been 3nights on the Disney Dream with the rest day being Castaway Cay. Excellent relaxation for the feet. 😎.

However if a cruise isn’t on the itinerary then it would be a late start involving a late breakfast in IHOP. Then some shopping followed by crazy golf. Couple of hours by the pool then finished off with either a Cirque or Blue man show. We don’t really manage a quiet day when at Disney-just cram in as much as possible 🤣

Breakfast at Denny’s , sandwich from subway for dinner chill by the pool in the villa all day then Chinese takeaway back to sit by the pool. If I close my eyes I’m there

Breakfast at Denny’s, then a walk around Super Target, Walmart and CVS to pick up a load of stuff I don’t need. Quick stop at up Wawa’s to pick up a sub for lunch, afternoon by the pool with a couple of Bud lite limes or Bud a Rita’s and Publix’s chicken for dinner.
