What does everyone think about having to get a negative test result to be able to travel home?

We were hoping to perhaps get to the Canary Islands in September but if this is still in place it’ll definitely put us off 😢😢😢

I’m all for it if it stops any other variants popping up.
They will have to make them easy to get though and make them more affordable!

I don’t relish paying for a test and still having to isolate for 10 days to be honest.

I've got four nights in Whitby booked through airbnb for the third week in March, but I'm going to move that to end of April or May this weekend.

Porto (deferred from last June) for end of April. I'll move that until Aug/Sept.
Barcelona for second week in June. I'd say it's 50/50 that will go ahead.

Flights credit still with VA, was dithering over booking Florida for Oct. Decided we will wait until April 22 now.
A lot of juggling to do with work holidays etc.

We have our first Disney holiday booked in for July (postponed 12 months). I can't see us going THB. Balance is due in May so hopefully things will be clearer either may by then

I will be cancelling my postponed Italy trip in June if it’s still la requirement. Doubt I could easily find a test in sorrento and what if it was positive and I got stuck there 😢 again, it’s the government acting 10 months too late after months of saying it wouldn’t make any difference.

We received emails today from EasyJet to say our flights to and from Rome in July have been cancelled.

I haven’t read it fully yet so not sure what they have said

BA are pulling out of the holiday market and cancelling all the bookings according to BBC (Its unclear for how long but looks like they will only focus on Flights and no longer any packages)
