Excel spreadsheet users!
Hi,
Help please! I use an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of some weekly figures for our business. I'm absolutely no expert, all very basic. My eye sight is crap at the best of times but I am at the point where my reading vision is changing. I know that I can zoom in and increase the font size etc on my spreadsheet but there is a tiny bar at the bottom that does not increase in size. When I am adding up a number of boxes on the sheet the total appears in the tiny bar at the bottom and I am really struggling to read it! Is there anyway of increasing the font size on this bar at the bottom? Many thanks in advance. Ali x |

Yes but its your screen resolution that needs to change, not the Excel product.
On your desktop right click anywhere (that doesn't have an icon on it) and select Display Properties and choose a lower pixel resolution ... Oh and go get your glasses changed/eyesight checked - it's a better solution in the long run |

Hi and thanks,
I will give that a go... I have had my eyes checked but I have a very complex prescription -18 in one eye, -16 in the other... also have dodgy retina issues, wear glasses around the house and contacts when out, saw the optician at the weekend and we are just trying to keep things as simple as possible at the moment with regards to introducing reading specs or not etc... Thanks again. Ali x |

Sending best wishes for a solution to improve your vision. Your prescription is almost as high as DSs (-23 and -27), he has ectopic lenses 😔 Contact lenses are his solution, vision still not great wearing them, but much better than with his glasses.
