Tokyo 2021

Well just received my refund from BA for my May 2021 flights. 😭 To be fair can’t fault them, they advised me on 16th December that my Osaka Return leg of the trip was cancelled, then got an email on Monday saying they’d be cancelling the flights and issuing a refund (quoted 7-10 days) and it’s gone back into my holiday account today. Just waiting for seat booking refund.
Going to start replanning after Christmas and decided to go November 2021 instead - hopefully things might have gotten back to normal by then!

Feel a bit deflated, as was due to go this May which was cancelled - and was looking forward to next year. As a treat for myself (it is nearly Christmas &#127876 I’ve signed up for a virtual walk of Mt.Fuji it’s 46miles and I even get a medal at the end!

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and I’ll be back to picking people’s brains in the NewYear.😊

I have just booked Nov 2021 flights, some good prices around now.

I’ve booked with a Travel Counsellor (Cinders Mum on here) and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

Rae21 - re the virtual walk, I don't want to worry you but that popped up in my FB timeline too, and having read the comments quite a lot of people are saying they gave money to the company but never received anything, and never got an answer to their complaints.

Yeah wasn’t sure if it was too good to be true - but I’ve logged 3miles so far so when I’ve completed it I’ll see if I do get my medal. If I don’t at least I’ll have motivated myself to get walking so won’t be too bad (she says trying to convince myself lol)

We had planned on a 2021 trip back in Jan. I was on the lookout for flights when covid hit. We decided there and then to postpone till Jul 2022 so im going to start looking for flights over the coming months. Im still a little sceptical about a good quality experience in 2021.
